Humberto Manduley (La Habana, 1959) es un investigador independiente que por m�s de cuatro d�cadas se ha acercado a diferentes zonas de la creaci�n sonora en Cuba. Trabaj� en la radio durante 21 a�os, adem�s de escribir para publicaciones dentro y fuera de su pa�s. Colabor� en la redacci�n de los diccionarios sobre Heavy Metal y Punk-Hardcore latinos publicados por Zona de Obras-SGAE. Es autor de los libros "El rock en Cuba" (2001, Ediciones Musicales Atril) y “Hierba Mala: una historia del rock en Cuba” (2013, NialaNai Ediciones).

No hay mejor modo de acceder a informaci�n y datos sobre el rock en Cuba. Humberto Manduley no es un outsider: ha sido parte �l mismo de esa historia, desde su condici�n de estudioso, periodista, conductor y productor de programas radiales especializados... y fan. Este libro es el resultado de muchos a�os de investigaci�n, seguimiento y b�squeda; pero tambi�n de discusiones y pol�micas para situar todas las piezas de esta historia en el lugar que les corresponde.

Un gran trabajo de Investigaci�n y de seguimiento, por anos!!!!.......son contados los casos en la historia donde la pasi�n , el compromiso consigo mismo y sobre todo el compromiso con toda la gente de tu generaci�n en Cuba ,amante del rock , se logra la prueba para que pasemos de ser descalificados e ignorados a convertirnos en historia; la historia del "Movimiento del rock en Cuba".......Muchas Gracias!!!
